People put a swimming pool on their land, or purchase houses with one, because they want to enjoy the rewards that a pool can offer. But one of the main difficulties with them, is the effort they can take to keep clean. Though you can install a filtration system into the pool itself, there are still some areas that only above ground pool vacuums can deal with. Prior to purchasing one, however, it is useful to be aware of the different sorts of vacuums on the market and their uses. That way you will know exactly what to look for when selecting a brand and model.
1. Suction side Cleaners - these vacuums are dependent on the suction and filtration system of your pool. This is especially helpful for cleaning up the base of the pool without the need to grasp the pool vacuum in your hand all the time. It is totally automatic so you are able to leave it laboring by itself.
One difficulty you may find is when there are many leaves or other stray vegetation getting into the pool. This blocks up the filtration system, so opt for a different style of vacuum if you live in a leafy locality.
These are the least expensive types of pool vacuums you will find. So that’s a definite benefit.
2. Pressure side Cleaners - these kinds of pool vacuums work on the pressure that’s being produced by the water pump. Unlike the suction side cleaners-vacuums, this kind employs a bag to contain the dirt that it removes from the water, so you do not have to think about your filter becoming blocked up.
The difficulty with these though is that pretty small particles can get through the bag that’s being used by the vacuum and finish up back on the floor.
3. Robotic Pool Cleaners - these kinds of above ground pool vacuums, such as the Aquabot Pool Rover, are independent of the filtration system of your pool. This means you do not need hoses to be able to them. They have interior electric motors and are powered by being connected via an electrical socket. They are pre-programmed to pump the dirt, grime and other debris, found in your pool, directly into the interior filters.
Robotic pool vacuums are the costliest, with prices running from about 400 dollars all the way to as high as $2000. But, despite the cost, this sort of vacuum will almost definitely work the best, so you have to balance your requirements beside your finances.
If you don’t need something as advanced as this, then a model of one of the two sorts referred to earlier will possibly be the right choice for you.
