New kindle 2 Available Now

Modern technology is brilliant. With iPods, social networking sites and now devices like the new Amazon kindle – there’s no reason why anyone should be slow to adopt these devices. Thanks to these devices our lives are now more enjoyable, simpler and more practical. For people who are book fans and love reading, the new Kindle is no exception.

People are hugely excited about this new device because of the opportunities it brings. Sure, a lot of people are worried about the “death” of the newspaper and other print mediums, but when you look at the advantages of going digital and getting your reading material on a reusable device that doesn’t use paper, can store hundreds of books and has free internet access, it’s easy to understand how that might happen.

The Kindle is a unique e-book reader which allows you to purchase books online and read them via an innovative (and unique to the Kindle) e-ink technology. This technology maximizes battery life and makes reading more enjoyable (and more like the real thing). Few other companies have had a chance to implement this technology, apart from key players like Sony.

What is interesting about the Kindle 2 is its ability to wirelessly connect to the internet, search entire books for certain phrases or words, and it syncs your “bookmark” wirelessly with other devices, for example iPhones, so you can always keep your place in your book—no matter where you left off. How cool is that?

Now you can carry around hundreds of books the size of a small paperback, and you won’t have to worry about the battery failing or reading in different lighting conditions, it’s just like a normal book!

The Amazon Kindle is making an impression in reading communities across the world and people are pretty excited about it. The books that you can purchase on the web to read on your Kindle are relatively inexpensive, especially when compared to their “physical” counterparts, and can be downloaded in less than a minute online. Most titles are going for as little as $9.99–these are books that would otherwise cost $25 or more off your local book store shelf.

The first Kindle released has now taken a back seat to the latest product in the line from Amazon, which is the Kindle 2 which has an introductory price of $359. This should be thought of as an investment since you will be reading books on this for a very long time. It’s a brilliant idea for college students or people who enjoy to read because it is small and portable and you can read so many different titles on it.
