ToonTown, Pirates Online- and that’s just the Disney ones! Online Multi-player games seem to be shooting up left and right these days.
The draw to these games is that the social aspect makes the game different each and every time you play. You can talk to different people, proceed through the game at your own pace without ever getting bored if you aren’t focusing on your tasks to move forward and can access any and every part of the world regardless of the level of the game you are currently at.
In addition, a number of these games allow you to create your own character from head to toe (literally). You decide their look, their clothing, their sex and their name. This just makes you feel more a part of the game in general- your character shows your personality.
In terms of age appropriateness and censorship, most multi-player online games that have chat available either supply a list of appropriate sayings or only enable chat with parental approval, so there is not as much of a worry about who your child might be talking to.
