Nintendo certainly know how to please their fans. Long ago on the classic Gameboy Colour, the games Pokemon Gold and Silver dominated the roost. Undeniably, the titles are so popular that they’re stillbeing enjoyed nowadays as cult offerings. This said, Nintendo are wanting to build on the polularity of these titles by producing remakes on their popular DS family. Say hello to Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver.
A nice highlight presented in Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver is that users will be able to sync their new title to any previous Diamond, Pearl or Platinum titles they have already got on the DS. This suggests users will keep all the rare and special Pokemon they tried so hard to find on previous games. And you will definitely need them all, as this title offers up virtually twice as many gym battles as in the previous installments, expanding the title significantly.
This title is excellent fan service for all the loyal Pokemon collectors out there, and retains some of the most popular components from previous titles. Classic audio tracks are included in Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver bringing back nostalgic tracks from the earliest Pokemon titles, along with vast regions you’ll recognise but which provide fresh challenges.
Moreover, Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver is not all about rehashing old features. The graphics and audio have obviously been highly improved since the Gameboy color era, and Pokemon has never looked this great. Running on the same format as Platinum, the title is pushed even further with some excellent fully animated combat scenes.
If you are even just a small Pokemon devotee, this title is good for you. It brings together all the most popular and well-loved aspects of prior installments and adds a bit of magic in the shape of improved graphics and extra options to make aperfect experience. Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver is an absolute must for fans of the series, and is sure to get a brand new generation interested aswell!
