Installing Zygor Guides.
This is a very quick and easy process, nothing to get hot and bothered about at all. Quite a few people get hung up on this but really if you can operate a mouse you can definitely do this. It should take you around 5 mins and then your off and away?. You see though we call it “installing the guide”, your not really installing anything. All you are doing is copying and pasting files into your World of Warcraft directory. It really is that simple.
Right so you have access to the members area of Zygor Guides. Now download it to a memorable place, somewhere like the desktop is an easy option. You can always move it later to your documents folder or similar. I chose the desktop because you’d be surprised at how many people down load files from the net and forget which folder they are saving to. Many people download files to they’re computer and once it finishes can’t find them. The desktop is an easy option, so download to there.
With the guide now safely located in a zip file on your desktop. It’s time to find the Addons folder where they will be placed. Click on start, then navigate to C drive. Within C drive you will see a folder called program files, click it. Now scroll down until you see your World of Warcraft file. Click that, and look for the interface folder. Now within the interface folder you will find the addons folder, open this up, ready for the Zygor Guides files.

Right with that done and the addon folder ready and open, go back to the downloaded zip file containing Zygor Guides, it should be on your desktop. Click on it, to open it up. Now within the folder you will see several files, drag your mouse around these folders to highlight them. Once they are highlighted, you need to click and drag these files over into the awaiting addons folder. There is another way to do this and that is to, open the zip file, highlight all the files contained. If you then look you will see a tab above the files called “Extract to”. Click this and it will bring up a small window, all you have to do is navigate through to the addons folder and then click ok. This will also place the files there.
The Guide is now fully Installed. No fuss and took all of 5 mins to complete. Your now ready to start up Wow and se what it looks like. Remember, you can also play around with the settings of the guide, since it is fully customizable but that’s another article. Have fun with your new toy, your going to love it I guarantee.
